When enough really becomes enough
Shouldn't be so hard to realize when certain something or someone is not right for you, move on and start all over again, in another direction.
That's the theory, actually. :) In reality, it takes quite a significant period of time, amount of negative feelings and many chances given more than once, in order to finally admit that no more can be done, accept it and give up. Perhaps that's why we make so many mistakes, because we hold on to something which is obviously wrong for us, secretly hoping that, somehow, life would prove we were right, even though the odds indicated differently. If we weren't so stubborn, we would see more clearly and easily that certain things or persons resist us for a purpose, even if they don't know it - because they are not right for us and they cannot not fit in our lives, no matter how much we would want them to.
And then I wonder - if we could see so clearly from the beginning the end of all our stories, would we still try to make them work and want them, or would we simply stop fighting? Would we still prefer to give up only after trying, hoping that maybe odds would turn in our favor, or would we admit that there's an unbreakable faith for all of us and a higher force deciding what's best, even when we don''t know it?
